Although these findings in the LGB older adult population are very important, it’s important to remember that most of the individuals in these scholarly studies defined as lesbian or homosexual. As noted, 52 % associated with the LGB that is overall identify as bisexual (Moore, 2015); therefore, these studies aren’t representative for the LGB community all together. Also, grouping these unique populations together may well not capture the experience that is true of bisexual older adult. As described by Cronin and King (2010), it is crucial that researchers think about intersectionality whenever performing research within the LGB populace. The knowledge of the bisexual girl is significantly diffent than compared to a gay guy, just like the ability of the bisexual older adult girl is significantly diffent than that of a bisexual younger woman that is adult.
